Introduction To Hot Melt Machine

A hot melt machine uses electric heating to transfer heat from a heating plate to the welding surfaces of upper and lower plastic parts, melting their surfaces. The heating plate is then quickly withdrawn, fusing and solidifying the molten surfaces of the two parts into a single unit.

The machine is a frame-type structure, composed of three main plates: an upper mold plate, a lower mold plate, and a heating mold plate. It also includes a hot mold and upper and lower plastic cold molds. The operation is pneumatically controlled and manually operated. It is mainly suitable for welding plastic parts for household appliances, automotive lights, and automotive containers.

This equipment adopts a pull-out plate structure, allowing for the setting of heating power and mold size according to the different sizes of plastic parts, enabling the welding of various plastic workpieces. It is simple to operate and convenient to use. The heating plate consists of upper and lower sections heated by electric heating elements. The machine has two temperature controllers to control the temperature of the upper and lower molds respectively. The temperature can be set within the range of 0-600℃ according to the actual welding needs. The equipment can be controlled manually or automatically. Manual control is for single-part operation and is mainly used for adjusting the mechanism and mold. After manual adjustment, it can be switched to automatic control for production. The automatic control system uses a programmable logic controller (PLC) and a touch screen human-machine interface for control. The movement of each cylinder is driven by pneumatic pressure, which makes it easy to operate, reliable in performance, and compact in size, thereby improving production efficiency and quality.
