Infrared Plastic Welder

Our infrared plastic welder uses non-contact radiant energy to heat the joining surfaces of thermoplastic components. The infrared emitters transfer energy to the plastic without directly touching the welding ribs. Once the required melt condition is reached, the heating assembly retracts and the fixtures press the components together to complete the joint.

Product Introduction

Product Description

Our infrared plastic welder uses non-contact radiant energy to heat the joining surfaces of thermoplastic components. The infrared emitters transfer energy to the plastic without directly touching the welding ribs. Once the required melt condition is reached, the heating assembly retracts and the fixtures press the components together to complete the joint.

Because there is no direct contact between the heating source and the plastic surface, the infrared plastic welder can reduce sticking, residue transfer, and contamination. It is particularly suitable for visible parts, clean-production applications, and complex welding contours. Multiple heating zones can be independently adjusted to match differences in wall thickness or weld-rib shape. Our infrared plastic welder can also include servo motion, temperature monitoring, data storage, barcode identification, and MES communication.

Engineering Support

Our engineers evaluate the plastic material, color, reinforcement content, weld-rib design, part appearance, and sealing requirement before machine design. The infrared-emitter layout is then matched to the actual welding contour.

Quality and Traceability

Infrared output, heating-zone stability, fixture movement, process recipes, and safety protection are tested before shipment. Cycle data, alarms, and selected welding parameters can be recorded when traceability is required.

After-Sales Service

We provide tooling adjustment, process-setting support, operation training, and remote troubleshooting. The equipment is covered by a one-year warranty, and technical support is available throughout installation and production start-up.

Low Maintenance Cost

Without physical contact, there is no need to clean plastic residue from the heating plate. This dramatically reduces equipment downtime and long-term maintenance workload.

Precise Power Calibration

Infrared power and irradiation time can be finely adjusted, allowing for a more precise process window and uniform melting depth control with minimal internal stress.

Easy Operation

The equipment is designed for user-friendliness. This high-end automated model can complete complex infrared welding tasks after simple parameter setting, ensuring high workplace efficiency.
